For two decades, the four musicians of Trombone Attraction have been performing together on stage—and are now celebrating their 20th anniversary. The audience can look forward to a varied program featuring favorite pieces, seminal works, and musical companions. Musically versatile, stylistically boundless, and shaped by the ensemble’s shared history—complemented by that subtle touch of humor and stage presence that has always distinguished their concerts.
This anniversary concert is more than a musical journey through the past years: it is a vivid portrait of a mature artistic partnership—and an invitation to be part of this special story and join in the celebration.
Since 2006, the four members of Trombone Attraction have been through a lot. Together, they have won competitions, played hundreds of concerts, traveled to numerous countries, recorded four and a half CDs, and shared them with the world. They have earned money, spent even more, spent countless hours on planes, delayed trains, and cramped cars, toasted successes, failures, or just for the sake of it with beer and wine, and drunk an estimated 44,106 cups of espresso.
They have weathered professional and personal crises, lived, loved, practiced, rehearsed, laughed, cried, argued, and made up. They have married four wonderful women, had eight children, bought two apartments, and built four houses.
What binds them together is more than a shared profession. It is a friendship that has grown over the years, one you can hear—in every note, in every phrase, in every shared breath.
Twenty years are not an endpoint. They are a milestone. And every new breath continues to write the story…
